About the Organizers
Rocky Mountain Lindy Fest is organized by Sunny City Swing, a Calgary‑based swing dance company dedicated to building joyful, welcoming spaces for dancers of all levels. Over the past few years, Sunny City Swing has grown into a vibrant community hub — offering weekly dances, classes, and events that emphasize connection, musicality, and inclusivity.
RMLF expands that mission to a broader audience, bringing dancers together from across Canada, the United States, and beyond. The festival celebrates world‑class instruction, live swing music, social dancing, and the shared passion that makes Lindy Hop such a powerful and joyful art form.
Whether attending from Calgary or traveling from afar, dancers can expect a warm atmosphere, thoughtful programming, and a weekend built around growth, inspiration, and community.
Building a Vibrant Cross-Border Dance Community
We are more than just a festival; we are a movement. Our commitment to inclusivity bridges the gap between Canada and the United States, creating a space where every dancer finds joy, connection, and a shared passion for the swing lifestyle.
