Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Rocky Mountain Lindy Festival website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. In addition, when using these particular services, you shall be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to such services.

2. Registration and Eligibility

Registration for the festival is open to individuals aged 18 and older. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian. Registration is complete only upon receipt of full payment and is subject to availability.

3. Code of Conduct

We are dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable festival experience for everyone, regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, ability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form.

4. Payment and Fees

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) . Full payment is required at the time of registration. Any additional fees, such as transaction charges, are the responsibility of the registrant.

5. Refund Policy

All sales follow the Rocky Mountain Lindy Festival Refund Policy, available on our Policies page. Refunds and pass transfers are available as outlined there.

6. Health and Safety

Participants are responsible for their own physical well-being. By participating, you acknowledge the inherent risks associated with dance activities. The festival reserves the right to implement health protocols in accordance with local health authority guidelines.

7. Photography and Media Release

By attending RMLF, you consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional, archival, and marketing purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify staff at check‑in so accommodations can be made when possible.

 

Incidental Capture: While we do our best to honor individual preferences, photos and videos taken at the festival may include participants in the background. This incidental capture is a natural part of documenting a live event.

8. Liability Waiver

The festival organizers, instructors, and volunteers are not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages incurred during the festival. Participants assume all risks associated with attendance and participation.

9. Intellectual Property

All content provided by the festival, including music choice, choreography, and educational materials, is the intellectual property of the festival or the respective instructors and may not be reproduced without permission.

10. Changes to the Event

The festival organizers reserve the right to make changes to the schedule, lineup, or venue if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances. No refunds will be issued for such changes.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta and the laws of Canada applicable therein. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta for any dispute arising from your participation in Rocky Mountain Lindy Festival.
